Yes. ADW is a RESCERT-certified installer, certificate number 01209. RESCERT is the Belgian certification for renewable energy installers: it is only issued after training and an examination, and it has to be renewed periodically. Always ask for that number on any quote, even if you buy elsewhere. Our company number is BE 0457.079.539.

A complete installation for an average family home costs at ADW from 5,000 EUR, most often between 5,000 and 10,000 EUR, including panels, inverter, installation, inspection and registration with the grid operator. The price depends on the number of panels, the roof type and whether a battery or charge point is added. Your exact price can only be given after the site inspection, because judging a roof from a photo always produces the wrong figure.

For most homes the payback time falls between 4 and 6 years. That depends on your usage, on how much of your electricity you use yourself during the day, and on your current electricity rate. We work out your personal payback time during the site inspection, before you decide anything.

A home battery makes sense when you are rarely home during the day and your solar electricity therefore largely goes to the grid. The battery keeps that electricity for the evening, when you cook, wash and charge, raising your self-consumption. If you already use most of your generation during the day, a battery returns far less. We work that out for your situation instead of selling a battery as standard.

That depends on the usable roof area, the orientation and obstacles such as roof windows, chimneys or a dormer. An average Flemish home has room for ten to twenty panels. We measure your roof during the site inspection and draw out the layout, so you can see where every panel goes before you decide.

A north-facing or partly shaded roof does not rule out solar panels, but it does lower the output. With optimisers the effect of partial shade is greatly reduced, because a panel in shade no longer holds back the whole string. If your roof really is unfavourable, we tell you, rather than selling you something that will never pay for itself.

ADW works with Bauer Solar for the panels, EASYWAY Energy for the home batteries and with Deye and LuxpowerTek for the inverters. For quality charge points, ADW works with Mennekes Amtron 4You. That choice is deliberate: manufacturers with strong warranties, stock available in Europe and a low complaint rate, so that a faulty part gets replaced quickly instead of sitting for months.

A charge point costs at ADW from 1,600 EUR installed. With a smart charge point your car charges by preference at the moment your panels are producing, so you fill up on your own electricity instead of electricity from the grid.

For 11 kW, yes. With a classic single-phase connection you charge at up to roughly 7.4 kW, which for most families is still comfortably a full night. We read your consumer unit during the site inspection and tell you honestly whether an upgrade is worth it. More about that on our charge point page.

Yes. A charge point is a change to your electrical installation and in Flanders it must be inspected before it goes into service. We supply the single-line diagram and the position diagram, because without those drawings the inspector cannot approve it.

Yes, that is called surplus charging: the charge point uses only the electricity your panels have spare at that moment. More about that on our charge point page.

ADW carries out installations mainly in the Vlaamse Ardennen / Pays des Collines, in and beyond Maarkedal, Ronse and Oudenaarde. Our office is at Elzelestraat 138 in 9600 Ronse, our workshop at Keistraat 3 in 9681 Maarkedal.

The capacity tariff charges part of your grid bill on your highest quarter-hour peak, not only on how much you use in total. Anyone running their washing machine, heat pump and charge point at the same time therefore pays more. A battery and smart controls flatten those peaks. In 2026 a minimum peak of 2.5 kW applies.

The Flemish grant for home batteries no longer exists. What remains is the reduced VAT rate of 6 per cent for homes older than ten years, municipal grants that differ from one municipality to another, and green loans. During the site inspection we check what applies to your case.

For solar panels on a roof, no environmental permit is generally required in Flanders. For a listed building or a home in a protected village setting, stricter rules apply. For a ground-mounted installation in the garden an application is required.

On the panels there is 30 years of product warranty and 30 years of performance warranty, on the inverter 10 years, on the battery 10 years, and on our installation work itself 10 years. With us the warranty runs through ADW, not through a call centre abroad.

Nothing extra. The mandatory recycling contribution is already paid when your panels are bought, so if a panel ever fails or is replaced, no recycling cost is added. If you are replacing more than forty panels, we collect them from your site as a service.

An average installation is in place within two days at most. Your power is only briefly interrupted, at the moment the inverter is connected. After the installation we arrange the inspection and the registration with the grid operator.

After you accept the quote, ADW gets in touch to fix a date.

No. ADW requests the inspection. ADW attends the inspection of your installation together with the inspection body.

Non-compliant earthing is an existing defect in your home, not a consequence of the installation. ADW can put it right, or you have your own electrician do it.

That application goes through the grid operator, not through us: you apply there for an increase in your connection capacity. ADW converts your indoor installation and has it inspected. Only then does the grid operator increase your installed capacity.

You ring the same number as before the installation and you get the same people on the line. ADW is a family business with its own certified electricians; aftercare is not subcontracted. We come back for our own installations, even years later.

No. A new battery calibrates itself over a few charge and discharge cycles; the displayed capacity creeps up gradually during that period. A lithium battery also never discharges to zero per cent, because full discharge damages the cells. What you see is the usable capacity.

Your installation simply carries on working and generating. Only the link to the monitoring drops out, because the inverter is still looking for the old wifi network. The connection has to be set up again; we help you with that.

Dynamic charging requires three things: an established usage profile, your digital meter data through the grid operator, and a running dynamic energy contract.
